About Katie
Katie has worked at Boux Avenue for over 12 years, starting off in one of Boux Avenue stores whilst at University. For the last 8 years Katie has worked in the Boux Avenue head office working across all product areas in the Buying department and is currently Senior Buyer for Swimwear, Knicker Offer & Accessories. Katie is responsible for end to end of the product lifecycle, working closely with the design, merchandising and garment technology teams. At the beginning of each new collection Katie will liaise with design and merchandising on product selection and range building. Then as samples come in from Boux Avenue’s suppliers, will work with the technical team on product development and fitting. The buying role covers lots of areas from order raising, to ensuring commerciality of the product (through fitting/colour etc), packaging and labelling. Over the years, Katie has been able to gather insights and data by reporting and reacting to trading of products to ensure all future ranges are the best, and what the Boux Avenue customer desires.

Oversees the various departments, whilst working closely with the design team to ensure the final product fits as closely to the design brief as possible - looking at fit, component positioning, colour, pattern designs and more - to help provide high quality and desirable products that the Boux Avenue customer wants.
Product Buying
Overseeing and working closely with suppliers to ensure high quality product that looks and feels luxurious, whilst also delivering the best fit for the Boux Customer. Along with managing the timely delivery of products, ensuring collections launch on time.
Visual Merchandising
Working closely with the Chief Design & Product Officer and Visual Merchandising teams to plan in store ranges - how the swimwear collection will visually look during the business key periods, along with the knicker offer table and accessory placement in the store.
Customer-led Product Thinking
Using data and insights from previous collections to ensure each new range delivers a relevant need and aspiration to the Boux customer.
