OUR FITTING GUIDE FOR NURSING & MATERNITY BRAS
How you measure your bra size when shopping for nursing bras or maternity bras during your pregnancy remains the same as it would with any bra. However, there are a few things you will want to consider when settling on the right size to ensure prolonged comfort from your maternity underwear...
WHAT SIZE NURSING BRA SHOULD YOU BUY?
You can easily measure your bra size at home with our handy guide - knowing your size will help you choose a truly comfortable nursing bra. Ensure you prioritise a snug but stretchy feel on the underband, the last thing you want is a bra digging in when you’re trying to feed your baby. Discover our tips for finding the best nursing bras - our range always prioritises your comfort.
Our nursing bras range from small to extra large. With the bust size ever-changing post-birth, the soft stretchy fabric of our nursing bras accommodates fluctuations better than stricter, stiffer cup sizes - as your size goes up and down several times between your baby’s feeds.
Use the chart below to help you choose which size nursing bra will be best for your bust size. Each size can accommodate a range of bra sizes allowing you to be able to get plenty of wear out of your chosen bralette, even as your breast size fluctuates post-partum.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BUY NURSING BRAS?
We would recommend waiting until 37 weeks into your pregnancy (just before your due date) before measuring your nursing bra size. Waiting until then will help you get the best nursing bra size for you that will remain comfortable post-birth, as your ribcage size will likely be consistent with your postpartum underband requirements.
WHAT SIZE MATERNITY BRA SHOULD YOU BUY?
Choose a maternity bra that you can comfortably fasten on the tightest hook & eye so that you have ample growing room, then size up if and when you run out of space. Here’s a reminder of how to measure bra size, if you’re not sure how to, or don’t want to go for an in-store bra fitting.
The best maternity bras will use soft fabric that will accommodate fluctuating sizing and grow with you.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BUY MATERNITY BRAS?
For a supportive maternity bra, check your bra size every 4-6 weeks and size up when you need the widest hook & eye fitting.
