About Nia

Nia has over 11 years of experience in the fashion industry, with 10 of those years at Boux Avenue, with her current role as Senior Lingerie Buyer. This entails leading the development of customer focused and commercially successful ranges from concept through to launch, working closely with design, merchandising, and technical teams. Gathering data and insights from past seasons, Nia is able to identify opportunities and mitigate risk, while staying on top of market trends and customer needs to create products that are both fashion forward and commercially relevant, with a strong focus on delivering the best possible fit. Alongside this, Nia builds and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with Boux Avenue’s suppliers to secure the best product, while managing the critical path to ensure timely delivery for each season’s launch. Working particularly closely with Zoe Price-Smith (Chief Design & Product Office) to help support the marketing and e-commerce teams to select key campaign lines and maximise the performance of each style, using trading data to react quickly and optimise in season opportunities. In addition, Nia works with VM teams to plan in store ranges, driving newness and maximising space.

Lingerie Lead

Oversees the lingerie department, working closely with the design team to ensure the final product fits as closely to the design brief as possible - looking at fit, component positioning, colour, lace / embroidery details and more - to help provide fashion forward and beautiful lingerie sets for the customer.

Product Buying

Overseeing and working closely with suppliers to ensure high quality product that looks and feels luxurious, whilst also delivering the best fit for the Boux Customer. Along with managing the timely delivery of products, ensuring collections launch on time.

Visual Merchandising

Working closely with the Chief Design & Product Officer and VM teams to plan in store ranges - how the lingerie collection will visually look and where it will be placed in the store.

Customer-led Product Thinking

Using data and insights from previous lingerie collections to ensure each new lingerie range delivers a relevant need and aspiration to the Boux customer.
