F.O.R.S. FOR GOOD
Looking to clear out your wardrobe without sending your old items to landfill? Great! Allow us to introduce you to the new Boux Avenue Fabric Online Recycling Scheme, or as we call it, the F.O.R.S. FOR GOOD.
We’ve partnered with the Salvation Army’s trading arm (SATCoL) to give our community the opportunity to recycle clothing super-easily online.
Simply package up your preloved clothes, register your donation with SATCoL to receive a QR code that you can scan at your chosen InPost locker or store, and then drop off your clothes for recycling for FREE.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
WHAT CAN BE DONATED?
We gladly accept:
- Bras
- Bikini tops
- Nightwear
- Pants only if unworn with tags & hygiene strip still attached
- Bikini bottoms only if unworn with tags & hygiene strip still attached
- Swimsuits only if unworn with tags & hygiene strip still attached
- Other clothing
These can be of any brand - not just Boux Avenue - but they must be:
- Clean
- Dry
- In good condition
WHAT CANNOT BE DONATED?
- Pants, bikini bottoms or swimsuits if preworn
- Bedding
- Wet, mouldy, dirty or damaged items
The Salvation Army uses the money raised to provide shelter for those experiencing homelessness, plus specialist support for survivors and potential victims of modern slavery, and so much more.
By donating your unwanted items through our F.O.R.S. FOR GOOD scheme, you’re not only clearing out your wardrobe more sustainably and with minimal fuss, you’re also helping this key UK charity.
Your donations are put to great use by the Salvation Army’s trading arm, SATCoL. They are either sold for charity or recycled into new fibres. SATCOL already repurposes over 60,000 tonnes of secondhand textiles a year and with your donations, that looks set to increase!
