Shopping for swimwear can be a pain, in fact in a recent survey carried out, we found 68% of women aged 18-44 in the UK don’t enjoy shopping for bikinis or swimsuits for themselves *.
With reasons from body confidence issues, to not liking the fit, many women aren’t exactly overly excited at the prospect of shopping for a new two-piece - according to key findings from our analysis.
But, what if there was such a thing as the best bikini ever, a dream-kini if you will? Imagine a bikini that had it all, the perfect price, all the features that make you feel confident, look fabulous and was even sustainable?!
Using our research we have been able to come up with a prototype for exactly that, behold below the best bikini set of 2022, the bikini we have all been dreaming of…
INTRODUCING THE DREAM-KINI
Utilising research carried out with YouGov, we found out the top features women want to see in their swimwear.
Unsurprisingly almost half of women aged 18-44 (46%) * want their bikinis to cost under £25 – because hey, who doesn’t love a bargain!
And positively 13% of 18-44 year old women* said that they look for sustainable swimwear! A great sign that more and more of us are trying to make more environmentally conscious purchases!
When it comes to what style of bikini women want most, we thought why not use our research to create literally the perfect bikini!
As you can see this stylish and sexy bikini has all the key features you probably wished you could find in one bikini when you go shopping for some new swimwear!
THE FEATURES OF THE DREAM-KINI
Tummy Control, high waisted bikini – With 36% of women looking for tummy control in their bikini bottoms and 31% looking for a high waisted style*, it is clear the perfect bikini bottoms would provide coverage and control!
Underwired Bikini Top, in bra cup sizing – All of our bikinis are designed to fit like lingerie. You will find most of our bikinis are sized like bras too, which is why we encourage you to get a bikini top fitting to ensure you get the perfect fit, like you would a bra!
Push up bikini top – Another feature many women are after in their dream bikini top is a push up style (14%), to give them a little extra boost!

*All figures, unless otherwise stated, are from YouGov Plc. Total sample size was 4,432 adults, 1,030 of which were females aged 18-44. Fieldwork was undertaken between 8th - 12th July 2022. The survey was carried out online. The figures have been weighted and are representative of all UK adults (aged 18+). Stats have been taken from coded data calculated by Boux Avenue.
