They definitely smooth and define but don’t have any “hold” as such. I am a UK size 14 and ordered a L to avoid any digging in around my hips, as my dress was tight. I think if I had taken the smaller size they would have fit but the look wouldn’t have been as smooth, but that could just be my shape and flabby hips!

I needed something to hold me in and give me a flat stomach with out being completely obvious. This thong 100% did that with out making bulge out in other places.
