In a change to our traditional application process, this year we extended our scheme to non-students as well as students! We held two induction events to welcome our new ambassadors into the Boux Avenue family. Our Northern ambassadors were invited to a special event in Manchester and our Southern ambassadors to an event in Central London. Both nights began in our flagship stores (Manchester Arndale and Oxford Street) where ambassadors were met by both the store team and the Marketing from our London HQ!
Meet The Class of 2020
Ambassadors were welcomed into store with a glass of prosecco and a short introduction to the scheme by Junior Head of Marketing, Rebecca Green, who spoke about the Boux Avenue brand, the ambassador scheme itself, and gave an official introduction to the wider PR and marketing team. The team then invited everyone to enjoy drinks and nibbles as ambassadors mingled and bonded over all things social media, Boux Avenue and more. Lastly, goody bags were presented to all the girls filled with new season gifting before continuing on to the second part of the evening.
We continued the Manchester induction event at our second location, Menagerie.Tables were decorated with special AW19 Boux postcards, glasses of rosé and dessert. With an Instagram friendly theme of baby pink, white and gold, ambassadors took turns in the ball pit bathtub and made the most of the lighting provided by a perfectly placed Menagerie ring light!
Our London event continued at Simmons bar on Wardour Street. Ambassadors were treated to a complimentary drink on arrival, and led to a table full of further bottles of rosé, schoolbook themed menus and AW19 Boux postcards. Incorporating a fun, quirky aesthetic including neon signs and funfair waltz booths, ambassadors maximised the opportunity to take photos at the bar and indulge in a following spree of each other’s platforms.
After a serious selfie session, slices of cake and taking the opportunity to get to know the Marketing team “behind the screens”, ambassadors all said their goodbyes, as they shared their excitement for the next event and continued to document the night on their social channels.
