WHAT TO PACK FOR YOUR NEXT HOLIDAY
Holidays - lovely once you’re there, relaxing in the sun with a cold drink in hand - but very stressful beforehand.
From airport chaos to the ever-dreaded stress of packing - there are plenty of opportunities for your holiday-zen to be ruined before you’ve even boarded the plane!
But worry not, we are here to help alleviate some of those potential stresses with our guide to what to pack for your holiday! We have even carried out some research into what the women of the UK are packing in their suitcases!

THE ESSENTIALS WE ARE TAKING ON HOLIDAY
When we asked women which essentials they are taking on holiday with them, we found some surprising results!*
Sun cream comes in at number one, with 77% of women asked saying packing that SPF is essential!
They do always say sun cream is more expensive abroad, so good thinking ladies! It is also the most important thing to have if you are wanting to get a healthy tan!
Sun cream is closely followed by sunglasses as another suitcase essential, which we totally understand! You can’t have fire holiday snaps without your favourite sunnies – they are great for hiding tired eyes after a big hol night out (Ibiza we are looking at you)!
In joint third, we actually saw women choosing both swimwear and more knickers than they would realistically need as their top essentials.
Yep - that’s right, you’re not alone in packing 20 pairs of knickers for a one-week holiday, “just in case” - we all do it!
The women we asked were choosing to stuff in all those extra knickers - even prioritising them above their makeup bag!!
So, whether you agree with these ‘essentials’ or not, we have got a fail-safe holiday packing list, along with some fabulous recommendations below.
BOUX'S CLOTHING HOLIDAY PACKING LIST
When packing your suitcase for a holiday in the sun - especially when there is a beach or pool involved - these are some of the key pieces we always make sure to pack.
Comfy Underwear
We are talking seamless lounge underwear and cute bralettes, like the Ribbed seamless lounge bralette and matching Ribbed seamless lounge brief! Perfect for lounging around your hotel room in!
Sexy Lingerie
Whether you are going away with bae or not, some sexy lingerie sets are such a suitcase essential in our opinion!
You will no doubt be feeling fabulous whilst holidaying, so why not throw on a sexy set one evening for something a little extra special?
We love the Annalise plunge set for a burst of colour and lace! This plunge bra will also work so well under any low-cut holiday ‘fit!
Or really turn up the heat with Bouxtique Saffie balconette set! Flattering and fun, the additions of the Saffie leg harness and Saffie bumless briefs really do make this the sexiest of lingerie sets!
Socks
You may be strictly wearing flip-flops, crocs and sandals whilst away, but it’s always safe to pack a few socks and a pair of trainers - just in case!
Bikini Sets
Great for tanning in, a comfy bikini set is always a holiday must-have! As well as some extra sets, of course!
We’d recommend taking a few of your favourite styles, from thong bikinis, to high-waisted and triangle sets or bandeau bikinis. Having a good mix ensures you will always have a set to wear no matter your mood!
Swimsuits
We always like to throw in at least one swimsuit when we are going away! If you prefer a one-piece over a bikini, though, pack a few!
We have some stunning new pieces, perfect for boat trips and more! Absolutely slay in the Caicos plunge swimsuit - the deep cut makes this such a sexy swimwear ‘fit!
Or try the St Kitts low back swimsuit - we are utterly obsessed with the square neckline and super low back of this! As well as making an extremely chic one-piece, it can double up as a gorgeous going out top when paired with some high-waisted trousers!
Beachwear and Cover Ups
There is nothing worse than trying to pull up a pair of denim shorts over your slightly damp bikini when going for lunch after a dip in the pool!
Avoid this pain by brining with you a few pieces of fabulous beachwear. From sarongs to kaftans - there is a beachwear style to suit everyone! As long as it's comfy, breezy and easy to throw on, you will be winning!
Holiday Evening Outfits
It’s not all swimwear and sarongs when on holiday! One of out faviourite things to do on holiday is to get dressed up and go out for dinner in the eve - nothing complements a tan better than a bit of glam!
We have plenty of holiday outfit inspiration, such as seamless sets, bodycon dresses or cute corset tops - there are so many gorgeous outfits you will want to pack from our edit!
Summer PJ Sets
Unlike in the UK, most places you will be staying on holiday are likely to have air-con, meaning it is possible to wear pyjama sets without overheating! So, you don’t want to forget some cute summer pjs in your case!
A little cami set is always great to take away with you! The 90’s logo cami and short set is perfect for your holiday sleepwear!
Whilst that is our list of all the clothing bits to take with you, make sure you don’t forget other essentials like toiletries, makeup, adaptors and, of course, your passport!!
