MISS B’S MEASURING MYTHS - WHAT TO WEAR TO A FITTING

There are plenty of tales told throughout time concerning the anything and everything to do with bras. Here are my most common false statements heard and told about bras!

When wearing a bra, you should put it on the last hook so that when it stretches you can tighten it - false. There are two issues with this statement!

This myth isn’t strictly focused on bras themselves but the fitting process! It’s not surprising many women have never had a bra fitting before if this is what they’re being told.

Here’s the myth... you have to be topless to have a bra fitting. This is what scares most young women about going into a store to have their busts assessed completely bare. Not only does it intimidate us women who want the best advice, this myth wouldn’t help a bra fitter do their job as to the naked eye a bust size can be interpreted differently.

When you have a bra fitting you are made to feel comfortable in our mood lighted fitting suits, the ladies will have you stand dressed in a bra – or with a vest top on if preferred, then start with their fitting process telling you every step along the way.

Ps… in most cases women are told they have slimmer waists and a larger cup size, which is always nice to hear!

Don’t be bamboozled by your busts, now you know fact from fiction!
